Good Harbor Vineyards Harbor Red

Rich with aromas of stewed bramble fruit and raspberries. One of our most popular wines, it is slightly heavier in body than a Pinot Noir with a medium palate and a smooth finish with light tannins. It is the perfect wine to sit and enjoy alone or to pair with pizza, pasta, or barbecue.

NOSE: Raspberry jam, dark cherries, a presence of baking cocoa.

PALATE: On the palate you will find fresh raspberries and bramble fruits. Harbor Red is a dry red blend with a medium body and a smooth lighter finish. This wine is delightful to sip alone or to pair with a wide variety of food.

VARIETY COMPOSITION: Merlot, Marechal Foch, Leon Millot

AWARD: Michigan Wine Competition Silver Medal Winner 2018

Tasting Notes
A soft bled of Marechal Foch, Leon Millot, and Merlot. this is a great affordable every day red, similar in style to a French red table wine. It is pleasant from beginning to end with bright fruit flavors, a medium body, and elegant tannins on the finish.

This is an acceptable dry red wine. At $10/bottle, it’s a great value. As a great dollar value, it excels.

Our absolute favorite...one bottle is good, but two by a roaring fire even better!

I was introduced to Fishtown white several years ago while having lunch a The Cove. I have been a Traverse City area wine fan for over 40 years but for some reason never tried Good Harbor. I have been very pleasantly surprised. This red along with the Fistown white are absolutely the best value in northern Michigan wine country. Just 2 great drinkable wines.

Great wine and great value. Smooth, fruity but not too sweet.

The Harbor Red is not only a great wine for a great value, but great to have in the rack at all times...appeals to even those who usually prefer white!

I was surprised at how delicious this is! My whole family liked it, which is unusual for us to all like the same bottle of red wine. I will be ordering more of this! Really delicious!

This one is a pleasant surprise. Tried to rate a 3.8 (but 3 or 4 only choices). Generally I’m not a fan of Michigan reds (except for some Cab Francs). But the balance of this wine is excellent (interesting varietals in the blend) and it delivers a very pleasant drinking wine I wouldn’t hesitate to share with friends. It is light, easy drink and paired well with Pasta.

I was shocked at how much I liked this red table wine. It's dry but doesn't leave the bitter tanin taste. It has a nice finish and a great body, which can be hard to find with Michigan reds. Well worth the drive north and it's in the beautiful quant town of Leland, right on M22. Love this winery!

Both my husband I enjoy this wine. Great red with the bonus of a reasonable cost! It pairs well with so many things. An excellent table red for dinner or a stand alone glass or two!

Great value. One of the best red blends on Leelanau. I buy it by the case frequently and rarely without a bottle in stock.

This is my everyday red. I buy it by the case, and have been through quite a few over the years. Might be the only red from Mission and Leelanau that has not been over priced.
